Blogging?? We'll See..

Blog creeping is what I've always done best. The thought of actually writing a blog has never appealed to me. Mainly because I never felt like I did anything entertaining enough to entertain. But after far too many people asking how I'm going to be updating them while we're adventure seeking in Asia, I decided to give this whole blogging lifestyle a go! 


I truly can't believe how fast our Asian adventure has come!!! Honestly, it feels like just yesterday Leif and I were dreaming of having enough money to book the trip and leave for an extended period of time. Then, miraculously the stars aligned... Leif got work in Fort Mac and was able to put enough money away, and we got renters in our place, I moved in with the parents and worked a part-time job to save some money....and before we knew it, BLAMM-O!! We had enough money, we booked the trip, we told our work, and now we're a week and a day away from jetsetting out of here!

To work on going from pale lotion-dependent Canadians, to tanned sun-kissed travellers. 

A week left to get my stuff organized and to somehow figure out how one packs five months of their life into a backpack, when I'm used to packing a week's worth of clothes in a large suitcase with wheels! Eeep! I best be getting off of here and getting my rest, so I'm not useless and starbucks dependent the entire week and can knock some items off my checklist. (yes Angie, a checklist...you have taught me well)
