On the road again...

For the past few days Leif and I have been wrapping up our stay in koh Chang. Hitting the beach, getting our scooter time in, and most importantly eating delicious food on the beach. For valentines day, lonely beach had a valentine extravaganza party. After going out for dinner and getting comfy in our new room, we kinda got the "maybe we should just stay in" mood going on...but we decided to just go check it out, and we ended up drinking buckets, dancing to house music, and meeting a crap load of friendly Swedish people!!! A great warm up to the full moon party, which we will take part in in April once Thad and Ang arrive!!!

The day after valentines day we moved back to our first location on koh Chang, white sand beach. We went out for dinner that night, and hyappened to see our Edmonton friends that we met when we first arrived in koh Chang on the taxi. We ended up sitting down with them and three swedish people, started drinking some singha and Chang beers, moving to a new location and smoking apple and mint huka for the remainder of the night. Kinda unexpected when our first plan for the evening was to finish our books lol. By the end of the night we had Pretty much the entire wait staff sitting with us smoking huka lol. we had some good visits and the Swedish man talked our ear off about hockey and hockey stats, and proceeded to call me Denver girl all night because of my love of Joe Sakic. He even invited all of us to come to his place in northern Sweden and we would all go to a Swedish elite league game.... If only Dylan was there to exchange hockey stats with him ;)

That was our last night in koh Chang. Back to Bangkok we went on a cramped bus with broken air conditioning and makeshift air conditioning via fans attached to the ceiling. We checked in to our new favorite hotel (a nice break from our hut with ants) and met our Edmonton friends for supper and drinks. They are leaving tomorrow, which sucks...they could have been pretty good travel buds.

Now today we are hanging out in a lounge with free wifi, and hopping on a night bus to krabi. New location, new adventures. Rock climbing, scuba....we shall see how brave I am.
